How to book our Stockholm Walks

Our Historic City Walks in the Old Town and the Southern Island and the Old Town Team Quiz Walk are arranged year round at a day and time of your choice. They must be booked at least 7 days  in advance and preferably not earlier than 90 days (deposit required). When booking, state your full name, e-mail address and your local address in Stockholm (hotel, hostel, cruise ship etc) and a local phone number or mobile phone number where you can be reached. To book, go to Contact and fill out the form.

Deposit and confirmation

To confirm your booking a deposit must be paid to this e-mail address: “postmaster@stockholmstories.com” which is our account at PAY PAL. When the funds have been received a confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail. Final payment can be made by credit card (PAYPAL) or in cash (ATM), see below.

HISTORIC CITY WALK (OLD TOWN or SOUTHERN ISLAND)

Pricing: The minimum price is 1,500 for a group of up to 8 people. No charge for children under 12 with paying adult.  We can accommodate groups of up to 30 people for the price of SEK 200 per person. See Booking & Deposit for more information. Swedish VAT (Value Added Tax) of 25 % is included.

Deposit: The deposit is SEK 500 (group of up to 8 people), SEK 1,000  (group of up to 20 people) and SEK 1,500 (group of up to 30 people).

Cancellation: Cancellations must be made by e-mail or calling (or sending a text message) 0708 85 05 28 (dial +46 708 85 05 28 for international calls) at least 72 hours (GMT +1) prior to the start of the walk. Your deposit will be returned via PayPal. For cancellations made later he deposit will be forfeited. For NO SHOWS the remaining amount is due.

OLD TOWN TEAM QUIZ WALK

Pricing: The minimum fixed price for a small private group of up to 10 people and 3 mobile phones is SEK 3,500. Swedish VAT (Value Added Tax) of 25% is included.  No charge for children under 12 with paying adult. The price for larger groups is a flat rate of SEK 3,000 and SEK 1,000 per  mobile phone (maximum is 10 phones). We recommend teams no larger than 2-5 individuals per phone. For larger groups Swedish VAT (Value Added Tax) of 25% is added to the total price.

Deposit: The deposit is to be paid via PAY PAL (see above). For a group of up to 10 people and 3 mobile phones the deposit is  SEK 1,000. For larger groups a deposit of SEK 500 is added  for each extra mobile phone (maximum of 10 phones).

Cancellation: Cancellations must be made by e-mail or calling (or sending a text message) 0708 85 05 28 (dial +46 708 85 05 28 for international calls) at least 120 hours (GMT +1) prior to the start of the walk. Your deposit will be returned via PayPal. For cancellations made later the deposit will be forfeited. For NO SHOWS the remaining amount is due.

Final payment

After the deposit has been made, final payment can be carried out in two ways:

1. In cash using Swedish Kronor (SEK) at the conclusion of the walk. There are ATM’s conveniently located throughout Stockholm. Note: For cash payment in other currencies, a bank exchange fee of SEK 100 (or equivalent) is due.

2. In advance with a credit card in GBP, USD or EURO to our e-mail address: “postmaster@stockholmstories.com” which is our account at Pay Pal. Note: All deposits must be made using payPal.

Cash machines (ATM)

Cash machines (ATM) are conveniently located all over the city and accept all the regular major credit and debit cards. Look for light blue signs with the word “Bankomat” (Bank Automat).

Public transport
